🙃 Sirsasana — the king of inversions, and one of the most humbling poses to both practice *and* teach.
The challenge isn't just physical. It's the nervous system learning to trust being upside down. The ego meeting its edge. The breath trying to stay steady when everything feels unfamiliar.
As a teacher, our job isn't to lift someone into the pose — it's to help them find *their own* stability. Hands framing the head just right. Shoulders lifting away from the ears. Core engagement before the legs ever leave the floor. And knowing when to offer a steadying hand on the hips, and when to simply hold space and let them wobble.
The wobble is where the learning lives. 🌀
To every student brave enough to go upside down, and every teacher patient enough to guide them there — keep showing up. The pose will come. 🤍
