As promised, here's the much-awaited Part Two of our project! In Part One, we focused on addressing the low tones by incorporating acoustic panels with a membrane. However, while the membrane effectively traps low tones, it reflects high tones. To overcome this challenge, we added an additional layer of acoustic material that specifically targets and absorbs high-frequency sounds. This strategic placement ensures a balanced audio experience in the concert venue.

But that's not all! We went the extra mile to ensure safety and convenience. We topped off the acoustic installation with an inherently fire retardant fabric that can be easily washed, which is essential for a concert hall where spills and mishaps can occur during performances or when drinks are involved.

Delighted to share our latest achievement: successfully transforming Schouwburg Venray's Bolzaal from a theater hall into a concert venue. 🎭 -> 🎸

This project demanded significant acoustic absorption to prevent sound from bouncing off the walls.

Music encompasses a wide frequency range, requiring us to address both bass and high tones. In phase 1, we installed 12cm thick acoustic panels with a special fabric membrane, effectively trapping the sound within the panels. We make sure to look at more than just sound though: considering the lively nature of concerts, we reinforced the bottom two meters of the panels with a perforated wooden plate. This ensures durability and stability even during energetic performances.🕺

De Roma is one of those projects that we're just still incredibly proud of! Thank you again for the wonderful collaboration and the nice words.

The most important thing was to come up with an acoustic solution that would not hamper the romantic elements of the hall. De Roma is a classified building, so all implementations had to be carried out with the greatest respect for the hall’s original style.

Our offices are equipped with acoustic panels in the shape of circles and donuts. The latter have the option to install a built-in light. But the options do not stop there.

Free form or convex shapes can be made to add a creative touch or fit perfectly to the shape of your space. Isn't that neat?

The smallest space where Does it Hertz improved acoustics?

A phone booth at Immo Selekt bv. And we went hard, with not one but two acoustic solutions. Sound-absorbing curtains and panels work to limit reverberations.

But, reverb? That's a thing for churches and huge empty spaces, you might say. When you're in a small space, the reflections actually bounce back more quickly and in doing so barely lose any of their volume. This creates a harsh, slappy noise that can quickly become overwhelming. Not ideal for phone calls, that's for sure!

For cases like this, textile solutions are your friend as they take up minimal space, but can still dramatically improve room acoustics.
