Push yourself. Set small reachable goals until you can step it up
Record your achievements. On paper or through apps. (Seeing your work in numerical form will encourage the competitior in you)
Stretch daily.
Get proper sleep.
Find yourself a good massage therapist.
I'm new to running and in less than a month I am running a humble 12 k

Inspiration is like cooking, vary your ingredients , make sure they are fresh , keep it simple.
I started running at the end of march, I'm not bragging , but am now proud of myself. It's amazing how this crosses over to the rest of my life and is pushing me to restart , officially what I have been doing for many years, Massage Therapy
I now spend a good portion stretching and recovering, strengthening.

Running is not for weight loss, (of course this will happen if consistent) it's to strengthen your mind. Set small goals, and feel the empowerment.
For those who need a little push, this is what helped me to run. All you have to do is move your feet.
