SEP Exchange Bulgaria Official page of the Student Exchange Program for pharmacy students in Sofia, Bulgaria

The Bulgarian Scientific Pharmaceutical Laboratory (BSPL) is the biggest facility in
the country for compounding of medicines on doctor’s prescription (ex-tempore). The team of BSPL consists of young pharmacists and pharmaceutical technicians
with a lot of knowledge on the pharmaceutical compounding, as well as students in
pharmacy from all of the faculties of pharmacy in Bulgaria, but also studen

ts from
abroad. During your training program you will be entitled to observe, but also to actively
participate in the process of developing a compounded drug. For the moment we do compound more than eight hundred (800) different
compounded medications for the use in neurology, nephrology, urology, cardiology,
paediatrics, ophthalmology, gynaecology, dermatology, psychiatry, microbiology,
surgery and many others.
