Direct restoration of a single fractured incisor.
The most challenging part of the procedure was the recreation of the optical effects, as well as the surface texture.
For the dentin shade, Kerr Point 4 A3 was used, combined with a medium chroma opaque (paste mixture). Over this layer, a stain mixture (yellow + ochre, 4:1) was applied.
For the incisal edge, a blue + lavender mixture (1:1) was used, followed by Color Clear. Spectra Effects D1 combined with yellow was applied to create the halo effect, and white stain was used to reproduce cracks.
The enamel layer was completed with Asteria NE. The surface texture was achieved using the MTCs technique from dr. Liu Jing Jin.
