Dr. Hristo Stefanov and his sister Dr. Elena Stefanova are both doctors - but their path to medicine wasn't straightforward. After losing both parents at a young age, they could have given up. Instead, they chose to turn hardship into purpose.
Today, Hristo specializes in internal medicine and gastroenterology, and Elena gives back as a donor through the "Ready for Success" bursary program, helping others follow their dreams - just as they did. 🎓

🌿As part of our Women’s Month celebrations, our People & Experience team hosted a cozy “Essential Oils and Women’s Health” workshop

The session was led by our multi-passionate team member, Diliana Mileva, from Learning and Development, who is a certified essential oils specialist, wellness enthusiast, and lifelong learner who loves sharing her knowledge with others.

Participants got hands-on tips, learned how essential oils can support everyday wellness, and enjoyed connecting with their team members.

🎓Education can open doors - but sometimes what matters most is knowing that someone believes in you.
For many young people who grew up without parental support or in residential care, continuing their education requires more than determination. Through the Ready for Success program of the BCause Foundation (BCause: в помощ на благотворителността), students receive support thanks to a community of donors and partners, including TELUS Digital Bulgaria.
For 11 years we have supported the program, helping 65 young people - 42 university and 23 high school students - pursue their education, with over €60,000 invested in their future. 🌟
🎥In the video, several alumni share what this support has meant to them - not only financially, but personally.
Their stories are a reminder that behind every bursary is a person, a journey, and the courage to keep moving forward - with more alumni stories coming soon. 💜

Team TELUS Digital brought all three together at the TrueBlue Charity Football Tournament, organized by the Фондация ТруБлу / TrueBlue Foundation.

TrueBlue Foundation is a charity established in memory of Teodor Balev that supports community projects across Bulgaria. The foundation focuses on health awareness, education, and sustainable initiatives while promoting physical activity and wellbeing through local projects and community events.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, our team members enjoyed a special Henna Art Experience with the incredible artist Saci-sundari Hristova, founder of the Indian Culture Studio - @Ателие за индийска култура and one of Bulgaria’s pioneers of this beautiful craft.

Henna, known as mehendi, has been used for centuries across South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa - not just for decoration, but as a symbol of joy, grounding, and positive energy.

TELUS Digital Bulgaria received a Silver Honor Mark at the 12th Annual "Responsible Company - Responsible Employees" Awards, organized by BCause Foundation (BCause: в помощ на благотворителността) in partnership with the Bulgarian Association for People Management (Българска асоциация за управление на хора), the Bulgarian Public Relations Association , and the Association of Sustainability Specialists - recognizing our commitment to promoting workplace giving through volunteering.
We are honored to be among 36 responsible companies shaping the future of corporate giving in Bulgaria. This recognition highlights the strength and consistency of our volunteering and giving programs, with TELUS Days of Giving at the heart of it.
During TELUS Days of Giving 2025 Fuel the Future, 350+ volunteers dedicated 2,000+ hours in a single day to transform the School for Children with Impaired Vision "Louis Braille” in Sofia.
