Did you know that vitamin D and magnesium have a synergistic relationship?
Magnesium is necessary for vitamin D to be active, and vitamin D helps with magnesium absorption.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to take magnesium and vitamin D at the same time. Your body can store magnesium and vitamin D for when you need them.
However, it’s essential to keep your overall magnesium and vitamin D levels normal.
Do this by consuming magnesium-rich foods, like leafy greens, and getting sufficient vitamin D from sunlight, oily fish, organ meats, and egg yolks.
