In the previous post, we focused on warm-up - the part of the routine that makes everything else safer, smoother, and more effective.

Level 1 is where the real training begins. This is the zone for heavy lifting, focus, and intensity - but also the reminder that recovery is part of performance, not a luxury. That balance is something Studio Hi captured beautifully in the design: strength and structure on one side, calm and reset on the other.

We relate to that contrast in CGI as well. We take both work and play seriously. When deadlines are tight, we don’t treat it as pressure for the sake of pressure - we treat it as a chance to refine how we work, optimise the process further, and stay disciplined without losing precision.

Because in visualization, as in training, the strongest results come from rhythm: effort, control, rest, repeat.

In our previous post, we explored the similarities between fitness discipline and the discipline behind CGI.

If reception is where the mindset begins, Level 0 is where the routine starts - cardio, stretching, warm-up. And anyone who trains knows this part matters. It’s where you prepare your body properly, reduce risk, and set the pace for everything that follows.

We see CGI the same way. Before any “heavy lifting” happens, we focus on structure: getting a thorough brief, sorting references, confirming the layout, and making sure the base build is spotless. When the foundations are clean, every step after that becomes faster, smoother, and far more reliable.

In this level, Studio Hi designed a space that feels organised and energising, with a clear flow and a strong rhythm across the interiors - and our role was to translate that into visualizations that communicate the concept with confidence, before anything is built.

Looking back at these gym visualizations we did for Studio Hi back in 2021, we realised there’s a real correlation between fitness and what we do in CGI.

In training, everyone talks about discipline - showing up consistently, focusing on technique, and not skipping the basics. And honestly, that mindset translates perfectly into 3D visualization work.

You can be fast and work hard, but the final result depends on the small details. In fitness, that’s posture and control. In CGI, it’s proportion, alignment, and the precision of the final touches that most people won’t consciously notice, but everyone feels when something is off.

And both are built through repetition. You don’t get a stronger body by rushing through sets - and you don’t get convincing visuals by skipping steps. Progress comes from doing the same essentials again and again, with focus.

Designed by Oktra, Co-City Workspace balances crisp, open-plan functionality with warmer, calmer moments throughout the workplace. Why CGI mattered here: a floorplan can explain layout, but it can’t fully communicate how the space behaves once light, scale, and materials come into play.

In our visualizations for Co-City, we focused on a few key things that define this project:

• the balance between bright, even workplace lighting and softer social areas

• the contrast between dark joinery, warm timber textures, and clean neutral surfaces

• reflective finishes that can easily shift the atmosphere depending on angles and daylight

• the spatial rhythm created by repeating windows, ceiling systems, and long-format floors

At Visioaxis, we create high-end 3D visualizations for the design and build industry, supporting architects and workplace designers with imagery that helps projects communicate clearly and confidently long before handover.

This project is mostly about how people move during the day.

The workspace isn’t organised around a single way of working. Desks, shared tables, quieter seating areas, and informal meeting spots all sit close to each other, which means people switch between tasks without leaving the floor. That was one of the main things we focused on when producing the CGI.

We looked closely at proportions, sightlines, and how planting and partitions break up the space without closing it off. Lighting and ceiling treatments also play a role here, helping define different zones while keeping the layout readable as one continuous workplace. These are the kinds of details that matter when architects and design teams are reviewing office layouts beyond plans alone.

We’re closing our 3D visualization series for Double Eleven and their UK Boho X office space, designed by Oktra.

This open external area supports short stays and informal use, with movement shaping how the space functions throughout the day. As evening sets in, integrated lighting, planting, and surrounding views begin to guide where people pause rather than pass through.

Our CGI focuses on how the lighting strategy performs across the open space after dark, while also visualizing the neighbouring buildings to provide a realistic sense of context and outlook. This helps design and build teams assess atmosphere, scale, and lighting decisions with greater confidence.

The bar and lounge areas at Boho X come into use as the working day slows down. People gather in smaller groups, conversations linger, and movement through the space becomes more measured and relaxed.

In the CGI, the focus was placed on evening conditions, when artificial lighting takes over from daylight. This shift defines how the space is experienced after hours—where people choose to sit, how they move between the bar and surrounding seating, and how the atmosphere settles into something calmer and more intimate. These lighting-led qualities create a mood that would be impossible to assess from drawings alone, yet they play a key role when design and build teams are reviewing how a workplace supports social use beyond office hours.

Desks, lounges, meeting rooms, quieter corners. All of them in use at the same time.

Our visualisations concentrate on how these areas relate to one another during normal working hours. We looked closely at proportions, distances, and how the surfaces read under steady daylight, especially where open and enclosed zones meet. This kind of CGI supports conversations around layout and usability during office fit-out stages, when changes are still possible but time is limited.

It’s less about presenting a single image and more about helping teams understand how a full floorplate operates once people are actually using it.

As we step into 2026, we look back on a year shaped by both challenging projects and moments that expanded our horizons. Each collaboration, whether complex or unexpected, added something valuable to our journey and strengthened the way we approach visualization.

Thank you for working with us, sharing your ideas, and allowing us to be part of your process.

Warm wishes for a productive, fulfilling New Year from all of us at Visioaxis.

The reception at Boho X is used quickly and constantly.
People arrive, cross it, pause briefly, then move on to the rest of the building.

When we worked on the CGI, the focus was on those early hours. The changing daylight in the morning, where people naturally slow down, with the seating and planting positioned alongside circulation rather than interrupting it. These are practical considerations, but they’re often the hardest to judge from drawings alone.

For architects and design and build teams, visualising the reception this way helps assess how the building starts working each day.

As we move through the final days of the year, this last chapter of our seaside home series turns to the rooms designed for the children — spaces that naturally evolve as their occupants grow. These areas often require a different level of planning, and our CGI aimed to support Hi Studio in communicating how adaptable layouts can serve a family over time.

The nursery is shaped to feel calm and organised, while the older child’s room introduces small hints of the coastal setting, creating a subtle link to the wider character of the home. These choices help the design stay connected to its surroundings without limiting how the room can develop in the future. The shared bathroom follows the same approach, keeping the atmosphere neutral and functional so it can adapt to changing needs as the family matures.

Visualizing these spaces is especially valuable in residential projects, as it helps architects, interior designers, and real estate teams discuss long-term usability with clarity. CGI allows families to understand how each room supports both present routines and the transitions that naturally come with time.
