We are pleased to announce a call for papers for an upcoming webinar dedicated to exploring the social dimensions of work and education in the digital age. As technology continues to reshape our professional and educational landscapes, it is essential to understand how these changes impact society.
We invite submissions that address, but are not limited to, the following themes:
The impact of remote work on social interactions and workplace culture.
Digital literacy and its implications for educational equity and access.
The role of technology in shaping educational methodologies and outcomes.
Social inequalities in access to educational resources and job opportunities in a digital world.
The effects of online learning environments on student engagement and community.
Mental health and well-being in the context of digital work and education.
The future of skills development and lifelong learning in the digital economy.
Ethical considerations of technology use in work and educational settings.
Differences between center and periphery: exploring the contrasts between rural zones and urban areas in access to digital tools and resources and how these differences influence work and educational opportunities.
The pedagogical dimensions of digital education: innovations in teaching practices and their effectiveness in various contexts.
The status of teachers and lecturers in the digital age: challenges, opportunities, and perspectives on professional development and identity.
The role of labor unions in advocating for workers' rights and educational reforms in the digital landscape: challenges, strategies, and impacts.
The gender dimension in work and education: examining the disparities and challenges faced by different genders in digital workplaces and learning environments, including issues of representation, equity, and access.
