Astanga Yoga Veliko Tarnovo - Aщанга йога Велико Търново is run by Yoga Alliance UK registered teacher Nat Larkin who promotes the Ashtanga Yoga System across VT Municipality. Nat started practising yoga in 2006, but committed to a regular ashtanga yoga practice around 2009. In 2010 she found her teacher in the form of Donna Southwell, authorised level 2 from KPJAYI. In 2011 she studied under Brian Cooper (Union Yoga/Yoga Alliance UK) and learnt how to observe the body, give hands on adjustments and guide students to follow a committed yoga practice. In 2012 she founded Astanga Yoga Oldham running regular classes across North Manchester promoting the Ashtanga Yoga System. She continues to transform and develop her practice under the guidance of Donna Southwell and professional development with Brian Cooper. Nat has also received tutelage from Manju Jois - the eldest son of Sri K Pattabhi Jois and from David Swenson, Kino Macgregor and Manchester based, Matt Ryan

Recently AYO has expanded to promote the ashtanga system in Bulgaria by teaching regular evening classes in Veliko Tarnovo,and organising international workshops and retreats with authorised astanga teachers.
