Septoplasty is a surgical procedure to straighten the bone and cartilage dividing the space between your two nostrils (the septum).

Duration: It is typically a quick outpatient procedure, taking 30 to 90 minutes.

Anesthesia: Usually performed under general anesthesia

Splints/Packing: Soft silicone splints or nasal packing (cotton-like material) may be inserted to hold the septum in place during initial healing.
