20th Commemoration of L.L.H.H Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Memorial Elocution Competition

ഭാഗ്യസ്മരണാർഹനായ പരിശുദ്ധ ബസേലിയോസ് മാർത്തോമ്മാ മാത്യൂസ് ദ്വിതീയൻ കാതോലിക്കാ ബാവായുടെ 20-ാം ഓർമ്മപ്പെരുന്നാളിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് പ്രസംഗ മത്സരം നടത്തപ്പെട്ടു.

2026 ജനുവരി മാസം 29 വ്യാഴാഴ്ച്ച സന്ധ്യാ നമസ്‌കാരത്തിന് ശേഷം ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും മലയാളത്തിലുമായ് നടത്തപ്പെട്ട മത്സരത്തിൽ ഇടവകയിലെ 18 വയസിന് മുകളിൽ പ്രായമുള്ള നിരവധി മത്സരാർത്ഥികൾ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ആവേശകരമായ മത്സരത്തിനൊടുവിൽ താഴെ പറയുന്നവർ വിജയികളായ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.

ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം: ശ്രീമതി. ദീപ്തി ജീംസൺ
രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനം: ശ്രീമതി. റിനി മോൻസി
മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനം: ശ്രീമതി. അനു ജിബിൻ

ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിഭാഗം:
ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം: ശ്രീമതി. ബിൻസി അനിൽ

In honor of the 20th Memorial Feast of our late Lamented Holy Father, His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews II, an Elocution Competition was organized at our parish on Thursday, January 29, 2026, following the evening prayers.

STOCYM പ്രസിഡന്റ് ബഹു. ജേക്കബ് തോമസ് അച്ചൻ, STOCYM വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ബഹു. തോമസുകുട്ടി പി.എൻ. അച്ചൻ, കത്തീഡ്രൽ ട്രസ്റ്റി ശ്രീ. ജോൺ കെ.പി., കത്തീഡ്രൽ സെക്രട്ടറി ശ്രീ. കുരുവിള പാപ്പി എന്നിവർ പരിശുദ്ധ പിതാവിനെ അനുസ്‌മരിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് സംസാരിച്ചു.

On the solemn occasion of the 20th Commemoration of His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews II, a memorial meeting was held following the evening prayers on Thursday, January 29.
We were blessed to have Rev. Fr. Solu Koshy (The Vice President of Malankara Orthodox Church Baskiyoma Association & The President of Kerala Council of Churches in Kollam District) deliver the keynote memorial address, beautifully reflecting on the life and contributions of our Holy Father.

പരിശുദ്ധ ബസേലിയോസ് മാർത്തോമ്മാ മാത്യൂസ് ദ്വിതീയൻ കാതോലിക്കാ ബാവായുടെ ഇരുപതാം ഓർമ്മപ്പെരുന്നാളിനോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച്, ഇടവക യുവജന പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ പരിശുദ്ധ പിതാവിന്റെ അനുസ്മരണ യോഗവും പ്രസംഗ മത്സരവും ഇന്ന്(29-01-26) സന്ധ്യാപ്രാർത്ഥനയ്ക്ക് (വ്യാഴാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരം 7.30-ന്) ശേഷം ഇടവകയിൽ വെച്ച് നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.

ഈ ചടങ്ങിലേക്ക് ഏവരെയും സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Handover of Accounts

2026 ജനുവരി 24-ന്, 2026-ലെ എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് കമ്മിറ്റിക്കുള്ള അക്കൗണ്ടുകൾ പ്രസിഡന്റ് റവ. ഫാ. ജേക്കബ് തോമസ് കൈമാറി. വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് റവ. ഫാ. തോമസ്‌കുട്ടി പി.എൻ, 2025-ലെയും 2026-ലെയും കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവർ ഈ ചടങ്ങിൽ സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു.

On January 24, 2026, the formal handover of accounts to the 2026 Executive Committee was completed today by our President, Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas, in the presence of Rev. Fr. Thomaskutty P.N. (Vice President), along with the 2025 and 2026 Executive Committee members.

77th Republic Day Celebration

ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ 77-ാമത് റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച്, 2026 ജനുവരി 24-ന് നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ ബഹു. സോളു കോശി അച്ചൻ ഹൃദയസ്പർശിയായ റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ദിന സന്ദേശം നൽകി. രാഷ്ട്രത്തോടുള്ള നമ്മുടെ ഓരോരുത്തരുടെയും ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം സന്ദേശത്തിൽ ഓർമ്മിപ്പിച്ചു.

On 16th January 2026, St. Thomas Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (STOCYM), the youth wing of Bahrain St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral, has officially released the Bible Reading Card for the year 2026.
The release was performed by the Cathedral Vicar and STOCYM President, Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas. The ceremony was graced by the presence of
Rev. Fr. Thomaskutty P.N. (Asst. Vicar & OCYM Vice President), Mr. John K. P. (Cathedral Trustee), Mr. Kuruvilla Pappi (Cathedral Secretary), Mr. Jinu Cherian (OCYM Lay Vice President), Mr. Alan Koshy (OCYM Acting Secretary),Mr. Jibin Varghese Binu (Executive Committee Member)

ബഹ്റൈൻ സെൻ്റ് മേരീസ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് കത്തീഡ്രലിലെ യുവജന വിഭാഗമായ സെൻ്റ് തോമസ് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ക്രൈസ്തവ യുവജന പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൻ്റെ പുതുതായ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട 2026 വർഷത്തെ ഭരണസമിതി 2025 ലെ ഭരണസമിതിയിൽ നിന്നും ചുമതലകൾ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
പ്രസ്തുത ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രസ്ഥാനം പ്രസിഡന്റ് റെവ. ഫാദർ ജേക്കബ് തോമസ്, വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് റെവ. ഫാദർ തോമസ്‌കുട്ടി പി.എൻ, 2025-ലെയും 2026-ലെയും എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗങ്ങൾ, പ്രസ്ഥാന അംഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവർ സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു.

The newly elected Executive Committee for the year 2026 of the St. Thomas Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (STOCYM), the youth wing of St. Mary’s Indian Orthodox Cathedral, Bahrain, officially took charge from the outgoing 2025 committee.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas (President),Rev. Fr. Thomaskutty P.N. (Vice President), Members of the 2025 and 2026 Executive Committees and STOCYM members.

സ്വതന്ത്ര ഭാരതത്തിൻ്റെ 77 മത് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്ക് ദിനാഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായ് 24/01/26 - ശനിയാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരം 8:30ന് മലങ്കര ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ബസ്കിയോമ അസോസിയേഷൻ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻ്റും, കേരള കൗൺസിൽ ഓഫ് ചർച്ചസ് കൊല്ലം ജില്ലാ പ്രസിഡൻ്റുമായ ബഹു. സോളു കോശി രാജു അച്ചൻ സന്ദേശം നൽകുന്നു. പ്രസ്തുത യോഗത്തിലേക്ക് എല്ലാ പ്രസ്ഥാന അംഗളെയും സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തു കൊള്ളുന്നു.

As part of the 77th Republic Day celebrations of India, Rev. Fr. Solu Koshy Raju, Vice President of the Malankara Orthodox Baskiyoma Association and President of the Kerala Council of Churches, Kollam District, will deliver a message on 24/01/26 at 08.30pm. We extend a warm and cordial welcome to all members of the organization to join this meeting.
