🙏 MAA Burundi warmly thanks all people of goodwill who contributed to ensuring that refugees living in the camps have access to food, especially those at the Cishemere transit site.
Thanks to Adullam Burundi, the donations received were successfully delivered to the beneficiaries. In collaboration with ONPRA, we were able to receive essential food and non-food items including maize flour, palm oil, bouillon flour, sugar, soap, dried fish (ndagala), and other basic necessities.
This assistance supported 50 people, mainly patients living with chronic illnesses, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers suffering from malnutrition.
In his remarks, the President of Adullam Burundi, Mr. Ntakarutimana Mathias, shared that he, his wife, and his family lived as refugees for several years during the 1993 crisis. Having personally experienced displacement, he expressed deep understanding of the realities and hardships faced by refugees in transit sites.

👩🍼👨🦽 Today, 50 vulnerable individuals—people with chronic illnesses, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers affected by malnutrition—are directly benefiting from this assistance.
🙏 Thank you for your solidarity.
