Hiking in nature is not only good for our bodies, it’s good for our moods, our minds, and our relationships, too.

Not only does it oxygenate your heart, it helps keep your mind sharper, your body calmer, your creativity more alive, and your relationships happier.

Hiking in nature is so powerful for our health and well-being that some doctors have begun prescribing it as an adjunct to other treatments for disease. As one group of researchers puts it, “The synergistic effect of physical activity and time spent in nature make hiking an ideal activity to increase overall health and wellness.”

Hiking involves something many other forms of exercise don’t: trails. That means it requires navigating in a world that’s not totally predictable. Slippery dirt, overhanging branches and hidden obstacles, trail markers, and wild animals crossing your path—all of the things you might encounter on a trail require micro- and macro-adjustments to your route, which is good for your brain.

It does not need to do amazing acrobatic yoga poses to find peace.

Practicing yoga is much more simple than what we see on the social media.

You can just sit and start the journey of observing your body, mind and breathe... That is yoga.

Then you can just stand on your feet and move your arms in circle with the breathe guiding your movement. That is yoga.

You can do the pose like on the photo and be aware of your feet, your arms, your point of focus, your breath. You are doing yoga.

Then with time you get to go deeper in your postures. And explore variations. And some days do more. Some days less. But mindfully. You are doing yoga.

Then some days you are practicing really cool fun poses but your mind is not here. You are not doing yoga. Just physical exercises. But that is ok as well.

But then you are aware of your lack of awareness. And you accept that your practice sometimes is very powerful physically or mentally and sometimes it is not... you are on the journey of mindfulness. That is yoga.

At the end we all start with the body we have. With the crazy mind of us. We all go at our own rhythm. And we become better at being ourself. Truly.

This is the best gift you can do to yourself and to the world. Being yourself. Beautiful. Vulnerable. Strong. Soft. With some scars . With some tears. With some smiles.

We are all on the same path !

C’est unis que nous devons avancer. Les mains ensemble et le cœur ouvert.
La peur amène la division car elle provoque la jalousie. Si la peur fait partie de votre quotidien, réveillez vous. Si la méchanceté anime vos actions. Réveillez vous. Si vos paroles sont médisantes... goûtez au silence. Apprenez à vous comprendre afin de mieux inter agir avec le monde.

St barth est une île magnifique. Avec des gens formidables . Mais elle est aussi remplie de médisance, de malveillance. Les gens ont peur de la concurrence. Les gens manquent aussi beaucoup de loyauté . Mais personne ne souhaite vivre dans une telle énergie . Chacun au plus profond aspire à l’amour et au bonheur.

Alors n’attendons pas pour faire notre travail personnel. La vie n’attend pas. St Barth a besoin de gens heureux et bienveillants . St Barth a besoin que vous soyez TOUS heureux et en paix.

* REFLECTIONS

Those last days have been a great opportunity for us to reflect on human beings attitude and actions. We hope that everyone acts from love and not from fear. Fear brings jealousy. Fear brings anger. Fear brings madness. Fear brings meaning ness. From love only we should act. Because when love prevails harmony surrounds us.

We hope that this year takes away fear from all of us so we can all support each other’s and grow together.

When one chooses to live on an small rock like St Barth it is probably to enjoy a much more layback lifestyle . When the high season comes and especially Christmas New Year’s Eve we all tend to run madly satisfying as much as possible all our clients...

I am glad I passed by those 2 gorgeous ladies Elisa (my partner) and Maeva (one of our massage therapist) so they brought a laugh and lightness to my busy Saturday !!!

Let’s not forget to play, smile, laugh often for the next 2 weeks !!! We are all grateful at the end to be here .

THAI MASSAGE //

In essence, Thai massage involves being gently moved into yoga-like positions whilst lying down on a padded floor mat, fully clothed in loose pants and a top. Using hands and feet, the therapist follows energy lines in the body and applies pressure with rhythmic movements too. A 90-minute massage is highly recommended for a full-body treatment as an hour is just not long enough to feel the full benefit and enable the therapist to really get to work on every part of the body.
There is no doubt that to the uninitiated Thai massage can seem fairly strange and different compared to traditional Swedish massage, for example. However, to emerge from a wonderful Thai massage is to feel as if you have truly experienced another level of Thai culture and certainly a whole other depth of relaxation.

Important information about St Barth.
We are part of the island of Guadeloupe. Guadeloupe is considered by the USA as level 3 related to Covid. St barth is automatically included in this rate just by the fact that it is considered as part of Guadeloupe,even if the rate of cases of Covid is pretty low and controlled .
Please do not mix both islands.
