Easter in Bermuda brings with it some of our most meaningful traditions: fish cakes 🐟, kites 🪁, marbles. Simple moments that connect us to who we are and where we come from. Most important of all is time spent with family and community.

This holiday weekend, our hours will vary across locations, and all stores will be closed on Good Friday as we pause alongside the community we serve.

For more than 40 years, People’s has been part of Bermuda’s daily life: supporting families, caring for generations, and helping our community navigate health challenges with compassion and choice. When we first opened in 1984, consumer choice was extremely limited. Over time, as Bermuda has grown and changed, so has our purpose.

From expanding access and options in pharmacy and retail, to strengthening the health and well-being of the entire community we serve, we have not lost sight of our ethos that People matter most. Today, our focus is not only on choice, but on connection, continuity of care, and ensuring that every person feels supported, respected, and cared for.

We believe healthcare works best when patients have reliable access to their medication, continuity with the professionals who know their history, and the freedom to choose the providers they trust. For many people managing chronic conditions, the relationship with their pharmacist is a critical part of their wellness journey. Our pharmacists provide personalized guidance, carefully monitor for drug interactions, and support your health every step of the way.

Recent changes to insurance coverage for certain high-cost medications may affect where some patients can fill prescriptions. We recognize that these decisions are complex, but they can have a real impact on individuals and families across our island. Maintaining patient access, stability, and choice remains essential to the health of our community.

A public petition has been created to ensure that patient voices are heard as these policies are reviewed.
