Grounded Wellness with Jill This site is dedicated to sharing and growing a truly holistic approach to health, fitness, life and love creating a well, vital and whole sense of self.

ic health is a combination of 5 areas; intuitive, mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. Finding a healthy balance in life is a journey, from the inside out, to the outside in, with some bumps and potholes, some uphill’s and downhill’s, some smooth sailing and some rough roads through tough terrain and sometimes the sore backside to prove it. And then sometimes....you get these openings into beautiful, green, peaceful pastures that made it all worthwhile. In the physical world, we assess exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress, digestive and detoxification systems and put it all together into a road map to health. In my experience, sometimes throwing the practical tools out the window and getting into some more imaginative areas can be a very powerful and an even more effective approach in those trickier areas like mental, emotion, spiritual and intuitive. Through Holistic Coaching, we use many tools to connect into belief systems, release old emotional wounds, grow a stronger connection to sense of self which builds inner strength and motivates from the inside out, so you continue to inspire your own journey to the next level of health and emotional wellbeing. I work with all levels of fitness, including restorative and corrective fitness for muscle imbalances and/or post injury. One of my specialties is rebuilding health after surgery or traumatic impacts on health levels, any surgery, cancer, disease, illness and/or accidents. It can be challenging to get back into the swing of life after an impact on your health, restoring energy levels and rebuilding strength without depleting the body, is essential. Using various types of exercise and coordinating, breathe work and movement is essential to getting back to life and feeling more motivated and empowered. I believe much of health is finding balance. I believe very much in the yin and yang of life, finding a balance between all aspects of life and self.

One of my personal faves !!! Why Inception?!?! Well, this movie illustrates a stuck belief systems. How that belief was implanted and how to free these deeply ingrained beliefs. Illustrates the complexities of the human subconscious and its power.

Welcome to anyone moving through anything that feels they could use a little …support/community/some healing.

Having moved through another major challenge in my life…and now feeling like my ducks are a bit more in a Row….

I’m feeling more ready to share my journey and Invite others to heal if they wish.

Once a month, last Monday of each month let’s gather together and mingle, share, do some fascial maneuvers , some stress resets, some whatever.

Our Precious Bodies is to help us reconnect.
To re-invigorate, re-ignite our relationship with our bodies.

I know what I’ve been through.
And tbh …I’d be lying if I claimed it didn’t feel like hell. It felt that way.

I love a line from Winston Churchill that said…
“If you find yourself walking through hell…keep walking”

I heard this line many years ago when I started my coaching journey in 2009 to help me move through crisis. And it was just what I needed to hear.

I don’t care what you’re working through. COME!

Menopause, depression, illness, disease, surgery, latency whatever.

I’m moving through major surgery and surgical menopause. As well as major life events. I’ve moved through relatively well…miraculously if I’m being super honest.
but I’ve had 20 yrs of education and experience. So I had a LOT of blueprints and ideas and guidance. External and internal guidance.

This is no cost and priceless.

We will gather for the specific purpose of reconnecting with our bodies. Moving through that feeling of…resentment, disconnect, betrayal, abandonment etc that often clouds and shrouds our journey through healing

Unleashing the Alignment Series.

People often ask me what I do and often respond...think of me like a user manual for the body.

Now most...many...some...are NOT interested to develop a deep connection with deeper mechanics of the body....unless....you've had ...duh duh duh...chronic pain and misalignment stuff in your body. Pesky stuff in the body acting out much of your lives. Or at least long enough to be motivated to look deeper.

So... I do typically work with those in pain and rebuilding themselves. I really help people re wire themselves. And therefore teach empowering tools for no matter WHAT is happening in the body.

It's really more of an attitude than a tool itself. If I'm being honest.

So if you are curious about correcting misalignments, niggles, that wonky hip, funny shoulder, stiff/painful back...have a look at the April Alignment Series.

And... scoliosis, back surgery, former surgeries etc will benefit dramatically.

Healthy peeps often have ZERO interest in core mechanics, breath/diaphragm mechanics, subtle pelvis awakening, spinal awareness....BUT...tbh...you are the peeps that need it most! To PREVENT injury before it happens. BUT...I'll likely see you after injury...cuz it's just how we are! Your lifts get better, you deeper strength improves and your pains and stiffness subside. KBell gets pretty amazing after Pelvis Awakening. :D

Join us every Tuesday for Meditation. Tuesdays focus will be arriving and connecting with and in the body. Decreasing stress, activating self healing, calming the mind. Body meditations can be an excellent for some of us to segue into the world of meditation. Meditation practice can feel intimidating for some people and this can be a great starting place :). More varied meditations will come very very soon so we can arriving into our sacred existence…ready for what’s next 🙏🏻💞😍📿🧘‍♀️

ok here goes...

I do a lot of work with the human body, and esp with injured human bodies.

Lately I have been emphatically sharing that healing is first about the ABSENCE of the irritant and the ADDITION of the healing.

Sometimes we do one and not the other and are not sure why we aren't healing.

Sometimes we can't get away from the irritant, for instance my heel is painful, but its difficult for me to not walk on my foot, so its taking a long time to heal my heel....lol! Couldn't resist!

So I practice listening to my heel and when its in pain I pay attention in a healthful way. Really....If I had a more dedicated caring regimen without my needing my heel to ask for it to be care for by expressing pain....It would likely heal faster 🤔

Conversely, I notice that many people will become angry with their heel or other body parts because they won't heal, or at least not on our timeline. We rarely consider if we are setting it up for healing by doing the above.

We can also get angry with our bodies for not healing or feeling better, or loosing weight, or gaining it, depends on your bodies needs.

Consider this... is the body is an 'innocent bystander' in these situations??

The body sends us many messages. Our health is a reflection of our lives, life situations, habits, stress levels (chronic vs acute), medications, chronic illness or hormonal imbalances.

Whatever is happening with our bodies and health, can we embrace it, celebrate our bodies abilities to carry us this far, can we consider noticing our anger towards our bodies and consider practicing paying attention to the messages our body is sending??

This is going to sound soooo arrogant lol but I’m a fabulous soupier ! And soupier stikes again with a beautiful roasted cauliflower soup !
I suck at
Recipes but one day I’ll write it down! This was the trial run and soooo delish!
And detox friendly so will make it into that as a new addition!

Here goes roughly….

I head of cauliflower

Roasted with
Half of white onion
Olive oil
Spices - tumeric, black pepper, paprika, cumin, coriander, pink salt of course
Incl half lemon in pan

Soak maybe 3/4 c raw cashews in hot water for 30 mins drain and add to blended when ready.
Maybe 4 c of bone broth
Smidge of local honey

Blend all Ingredients incl juice from the half lemon
Salt and pepper to taste.

Imma little of this and little if that cook! Deal with it lol
I’m also a terrible photographer and doesn’t do it justice!
Very yummy!
