Please help support a cause that deeply impacts our community.

Focus Counselling Services is hosting its annual Tag Day on Friday September 19, 2025, and we need your help to ensure its success.

Our organization is a registered Bermuda charity #371 and is dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by substance use find hope and healing.

Tag Day is our annual community event where we raise awareness and funds to continue offering vital sober living to adult males and treatment and support services to adults and adolescents who struggle with substance use.

We are reaching out to corporate executives, civic groups, and community members to come together and help us make a difference in our clients’ lives and the community at large.

How You Can Help:
Volunteer on Tag Day: Join us as a Tag Day Ambassador, helping to distribute tags throughout Bermuda.

Volunteering your time allows us to connect with the community and secure critical funds to continue our therapeutic work. Sign up now! Visit https://www.signupgenius.com/go/FocusCounsellingServices #/

Host a Denim Day at Your Organization: If you're unable to volunteer on Tag Day, consider hosting a Denim Day at your workplace or within your community group.

We are asking a minimum donation of $5.00 Denim Day donation per participant, employees or members that choose to dress down or wear denim on the day. This is a powerful way organizations can help to support our mission and raise critical funds to help those in need.

Organize a Volunteer Group to’ Take Over’ A Tagging Station: Rally your colleagues, friends, or organization members to volunteer as a group. It is fun and great team-building opportunity.

Every contribution, whether it’s your time, a Denim Day or a donation, plays a crucial role in supporting individuals on their path to recovery.

If you’d like to volunteer sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/FocusCounsellingServices #/

Because the evidence is clear. Studies show that half to two-thirds of people with addiction eventually recover when they are given the chance. With alcohol, it rises to around 75% over a lifetime. Even with he**in and other opioids, often seen as the hardest cases, 20–30% achieve stable recovery within 5–10 years, and more as time goes on.

So which would you choose for your loved one: a lifetime of being kept afloat, or a real chance at recovery where the odds are far better than you’ve been led to believe? Annemarie Ward
