JPMC hosted a workshop and lecture with Prof Dr. Orapan Poachanukoon from BNH Medical Centre Ltd. (Thailand). Prof Dr. Orapan, a leader in allergy and immunology conducted a hand-on workshop titled “Practical Approaches in Respiratory and Allergy Diagnostics” and CME lecture titled “The Allergy & Asthma Evaluation and Management: Journey to Remission” for the medical professionals in our community.
Medical professionals had the opportunity to learn best practices for aerosol therapy, allergy testing, and airway assessments to equip themselves with vital skills for patient care. JPMC and BNH Hospital Thailand have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the start of a new partnership to strengthen cross-border healthcare.The signing was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health, and Her Excellency Boosara Kanchanalai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam, together with senior representatives from the Ministry of Health, JPMC and BNH Medical Centre Ltd. (Thailand).
Signing on behalf of JPMC was Dr Meera Sahib Kabeer, Chief Medical Officer, witnessed by Madam Bun Pei Ling, Chief Financial Officer. Representing BNH Hospital was Dr Nopparat Panthongwiriyakul, Hospital Director, witnessed by Mr Thanasit Siripokhakul, Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
This collaboration will open opportunities in staff exchange, specialised services, joint research, academic programmes and medical tourism, with the shared goal of giving patients greater access to quality healthcare.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Health, BNH Medical Centre Ltd. (Thailand) and all parties involved for their support in this milestone journey.

Please be informed that the JPMC Surau located on Level 3 will be temporarily closed starting Friday, 8th August 2025 from 7.00pm onwards to facilitate scheduled general cleaning works. The surau will remain closed until the cleaning is fully completed.
During this period, you may use PJSC Building surau at Level 1 and prayer rooms from Level 7 to Level 12.
