Our lives are often made more difficult by some of the assumptions we hold, which we don't even know are impeding us. Believing that there are "right" and "wrong" decisions is an example. Believing that we can "know" when a decision is "right" is another example. If you struggle with indecision, procrastination or other issues, find out how to overcome these by learning about the limiting assumptions you have.

How are you sabotaging yourself?

Some of the more common things that lead people to feel unhappy are:
-Always wanting to make others happy
-Comparing self to others
-Worrying what others think of you
-Holding on to past mistakes
-Dwelling on too many "what ifs" in the future

These are just a few of the things that you might be doing to yourself that sabotage your best life.
The ways we think, the beliefs we hold, our expectations and the ways we treat ourselves make all the difference in how we feel. If you are not as content as you know you could be, there are things you can do to change that. Sometimes tiny changes in how we see things or how we talk to ourselves can make massive changes in how we feel and how we live.

A professional counsellor/therapist/psychologist or life coach who has worked with hundreds or thousands of clients will be adept at quickly helping you to identify what is not working well for you and what patterns are holding you back from living optimally. Use these services rather than carrying on in unhealthy patterns.

A significant number of our clients seek counselling because they've been having "scary thoughts" and they wonder if they're crazy or a danger to themselves or others. In our work with clients, we can normally very quickly reduce these thoughts and reduce the fearful response to them.
Below is an article that describes this phenomenon in more detail. Who can relate to thoughts like this?

The number of people who struggle with health anxiety is not small. This is an incredibly common issue. If you, or someone you know, is constantly researching illnesses and diseases, frequently getting medical checks, and constantly feeling like there is something wrong with their health, then this could be health anxiety.
Fortunately, it's very treatable. Consider just a couple of counselling appointments to help reduce or eliminate health anxiety.

When you've avoiding social interaction because you're worried what others will think and whether you'll be awkward - that's social anxiety, not introversion. Don't let social anxiety stifle your life. Seek professional help. It can change your life.

Loving alone time is different from a mental health condition.
