An MOU signing ceremony was held yesterday between the Ministry of Health and Gleneagles JPMC, strengthening a long-standing partnership, now in its 7th consecutive year. With this MOU, Gleneagles JPMC is contributing BND250,000 to support the Ministry of Health’s healthy lifestyle initiatives, bringing the total contributions from Gleneagles JPMC to more than BND1.6 million to date.
The signing ceremony was graced by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. Signing on behalf of Ministry of Health was Dr Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, and Dr Peter Tay, CEO of Gleneagles JPMC, with witnesses Mohammad Firdey Hazarullah bin Haji Md Zain, CEO of the Health Promotion Centre, and ‘Izzul Hamzi bin Haji Jomari, COO of Gleneagles JPMC.
Through impactful programmes such as Workplace and Health (WAH), Happy Environment and Lifestyle (HEAL), and Growing, Learning, Optimizing Towards Better Well-Being in Schools (GLOW), this collaboration continues to empower communities, workplaces, and schools in making healthier choices for a stronger future.
