Kindly be informed that all lenses provided with our complete frame packages even for our most affordable ones comes with branded 1.61 Multicoated UV400 Aspheric thin Lens with STEEL Coating + advanced Eye Tests by one of our MOE-Accredited and MOH-Registered Optometrists.

We also keep in stock high-power lenses up to SPH -10.00 with CYL up to -4.00 so our customers do not need to wait for weeks for the lenses to arrive especially during urgent situations*

By LAW in all countries including Brunei Darussalam, unqualified personnel ARE NOT authorized/ NOT allowed to perform any eye tests for the safety and well being of all customers.

It is an offence for anyone to perform eye tests without proper registration with Ministry of Health (AHPC) in Brunei Darussalam.

General penalty for guilty of an offence – not exceeding $25,000, imprisonment of term not exceeding 6 months, or both.
For Second or subsequent conviction – not exceeding $50,000, imprisonment of term not exceeding 12 months, or both.

Be rest assured that at ALL Perfect Vision branches, ONLY our in-house MOE-Accredited and MOH-Registered Optometrists will perform all eye tests no matter how basic the test may be. And all their VALID Registration Certificates with photos issued by MOH-AHPC will also be displayed at all our branches.

Problems with your new pair of glasses?
One of the reasons could be due to poor quality eye-tests done by unqualified personnel. You may think you got a great deal or bargain on the glasses during purchase but in the end you will be spending a lot more to get your eyes rechecked and those lenses changed.

At all Perfect Vision branches, all eye tests will be done only by one of our in-house qualified MOE-Accredited and MOH-Registered Optometrists using our advanced 'visual' eye testing equipment's.

Unqualified and unregistered personnel are BY LAW prohibited from doing any eye tests.

Frame fitting is very important which can only be done in-person by Optometrists and professionally-registered eye care personnel when you purchase any new prescription glasses.

Prescription glasses and all contact lenses are categorized as medical devices so it should never be taken for granted.

Many frames may look nice on photos and in the magazines or when worn by others but not necessarily it will suit or fit your face to give you the proper vision correction you need. That is why you should always try out the frames that you like first before buying them to ensure proper frame fitting, as well as to see if it looks good on your face as well 🙂

At the end of the day, yes it is still your choice to still purchase your glasses online, to buy them at night markets, or to continue buying them at your favorite legally licensed/registered optical stores but please do just remember one thing; we only have one pair of eyes to use for the rest of our lives so do take very good care of them and do not sacrifice your vision quality and eye health just to save a few dollars, which may also cause you to spend a lot more later on for your vision treatments especially when you do not have the proper vision corrections when it was still possible to do so then.
