This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating the look of love. 💙
When Patson lost his vision, he relied completely on his wife, Judith, and worried about the burden his blindness placed on her. As small-scale farmers in Zambia 🇿🇲, the cost of surgery was out of reach, and fear nearly kept him from receiving care.
But thanks to an Orbis-supported outreach program, Patson got the cataract surgery he needed to see again.
“I came to the hospital with a walking stick and now I am walking without it,” he says. “This is the best gift I have seen in my life so far.”
Today, Patson and Judith are moving forward together—with independence, hope, and renewed love. 💕
