Miriam Chickering, CEO of NextGenU.org, and partner organization, Nurses International, is the new CEO of Humanitarian U, an organization that has trained over 33,000 Humanitarians worldwide. She has extensive experience developing successful innovative solutions for global education, including NextGenU.org's Masters in Public Health Program, which currently enrolls over 150 students from 45 countries, and offers open courses with registrants from over 300 universities and every country. Under her leadership, Nurses International developed a nursing curriculum and provided it to 124 countries. Ms. Chickering has published peer-reviewed articles, chapters, and books and regularly provides consulting services to other organizations. Her expertise in team building, partnership development, resource allocation, education, and health, uniquely positions her to increase Humanitarian U's organizational capacity and impact worldwide while training and providing more opportunities for nurses. The new partnership between NextGenU.org, HumanitarianU.com, and NursesInternational.org will significantly improve humanitarian aid worker education and increase the number of humanitarian workers globally. Through this initiative, Ms. Chickering hopes to enhance global human welfare.
