This center is a program of the Bolivian non-profit foundation FUNPROBO (Fundación Prótesis para Bolivia). Our mission is to help low income Bolivian amputees regain their dignity, self-respect and reintegrate back into society, regain employment and contribute to their family and society again by providing them with a high quality prosthesis made in our own workshop by Bolivian technicians. In August of 2014 we incorporated as a Bolivian non-profit foundation named FUNPROBO (Foundation of Prosthetics for Bolivia)

The team of dedicated staff is comprised of Bolivian prosthetic technicians, Bolivian volunteers managing the center, as well as other volunteer students and adults from around the world all working together to make this oasis of hope a reality. This centre is also supported by the generous donations of individuals and international Rotary clubs as well as by the free use of prosthetic designs and technological advice provided by universities and other organizations in the USA. Our clinic offers several exciting volunteer positions depending on your qualifications, available duration and desires. In general we are looking for:

o Certified Prosthetist Orthopedist
o Office manager/assistant
o Technology researcher
o Workshop assistant
o Local and International Fund raiser
o Computer setup
o General "handyman" or women :)

Other then the CPO position, none of the jobs require any previous experience. We do not charge volunteers any fees. For more information visit our web site, www.funprobo.com
