We had a great time at the Milford Disability Fair this past weekend!

It was inspiring to connect with families, advocates, and community partners all working together to support individuals with disabilities. From a fun Paw Patrol surprise to celebrating a family winning a new bike, the day was filled with meaningful moments.

We’re grateful to be part of such a supportive community.

For Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting leaders shaping the field of autism services and behavior analysis.

Rita Gardner, President & CEO of Melmark and Board Chair of CASP, has made a lasting impact through her leadership, advocacy, and mentorship.

But what makes her truly inspiring is her authenticity, humility, and dedication to the families and professionals she serves.

We’re grateful for leaders like Rita who continue to inspire growth and excellence across our field.

Chyna truly cares about her clients and their success. She asks clarifying questions, embraces feedback, and stepped up to learn SBT — confidently navigating live, in-the-moment coaching to strengthen her skills.

She celebrates ALL the wins, even the smallest ones. Through patience, collaboration with her BCBA, and thoughtful food exposure, she helped a client transition from relying solely on Ensure to eating snacks and chicken within six months.

Small steps. Big impact. We’re proud of you, Chyna. 💙

Daylight Saving Time is near — and while we “spring forward,” even a one-hour shift can feel big for children who rely on routine.

For many individuals with autism, predictability and structure provide comfort and stability. Small changes — like shifts in sleep schedules or morning routines — may take extra support.
A few gentle reminders:
• Begin adjusting bedtime gradually
• Use visual schedules to preview the change
• Keep routines as consistent as possible

With preparation and patience, transitions can feel smoother for everyone.
Here’s to brighter days ahead. 🌷

As Black History Month comes to a close, our commitment does not.
At Community Autism Services, we honor Black history not only by recognizing the past — but by continuing to listen, learn, uplift, and support Black voices within our teams, our families, and the communities we serve.

Equity, inclusion, and respect are not one-month initiatives. They’re values we carry forward every day.
💙
We’re grateful to the Black clinicians, caregivers, leaders, and families who help shape our community — today and always.
