Our epilepsy surgery program is the cover story of the BIDMC Inside Surgery magazine. In one year we are already meeting our planned year 3 benchmarks in volume and expect to keep growing to meet the needs of our medically refractory epilepsy patients.

Enjoyed serving as faculty at SNS Bootcamp this weekend, taking 95 neurosurgery interns from all over the east coast through standard neurosurgery procedures. Kudos to Julian Wu and Tufts Neurosurgery for hosting, and to my colleagues from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center who served as faculty with me, Martina Stippler and Christopher Ogilvy!

I am happy to announce I have officially started my new position as Director of Epilepsy Surgery in the Divison of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, with a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School. I will focus on functional neurosurgery, deep brain stimulation, epilepsy surgery, and facial pain.
