Strong turnout at our Regional Member Meetings in Worcester and Medford last week.

We covered what providers are dealing with right now—CCA and billing challenges, immigration-related workforce concerns, and the growing need for emergency preparedness planning across agencies.

A key focus was hospital discharge pressure. Recent data from the Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association shows hundreds of patients waiting for post-acute placement, sometimes for weeks or longer, reinforcing the strain on home care and community-based providers. 

These conversations matter. They shape how we advocate, where we focus resources, and how we support members navigating real-time operational challenges.
