HOW FINANCIAL MARKETS WORK

One of the sources of profit, especially for market makers and large participants, is the losses of other market participants. Therefore, the following situations arise in the market:

False breakdowns of levels. It is important for traders to focus on something in the market, and levels serve as such a well-known guide for trading. Stop losses of those who have positions and pending orders of those who wish to enter the market accumulate behind the levels. It is for the triggering of these orders that false breakouts of levels occur, after which the price returns beyond the level.
short trends. Sometimes the price can confidently move in a certain direction for one or two days. When most small and medium market participants believe that a new big trend has begun and try to join it, the trend ends. After that, the price may again return to the range in which it was.
