Ayahuasca in darkness. 🌑

Tatiana shares a teaching from the Ashaninka tradition: Darkness and silence is a ritual of fear, but as a return to the place where all true listening begins. In the darkness and the quiet, there is nothing left to distract us from ourselves. No stories to hide behind. No performances. No masks.

Not all traditions practice this way. Many who sit with the plants do so in the daytime, or do so singing and dancing. This is not that.

Just breath, sensation, and the truth that rises when everything else is stripped away. It is in this kind of silence that we discover who we really are — not the version shaped by pressure or expectation, but the one that lives underneath.

And when that part of us is finally seen, it becomes the force that moves us forward… the root of our courage, our clarity, and our purpose.

This is one of the most profound learnings that Tatiana came too when she first began her practice with the plants. She was scared. She thought the devil was in the dark. So much was discovered and she has never been the same.

You don't ayahuasca to experience this. Through meditation it is no different. There is no greater teacher than the stillness that resides within you.

May we all return to the Jungle 🙏🏾

When Tatiana returned to the jungle, Maestro Juan Flores reminded her of something most people forget: the plants are not just plants.

They are the first ones to drink the light. They take in the sun, the warmth, the force that gives life to everything — and through the taking them into our body, that same light enters us. Maestro would say that this is how we receive the divine directly… not through ideas, not through dogma, but through the living world itself.

The jungle teaches us to feel the presence that has been here long before our stories. Tatiana carries this teaching as she walks, listens, and remembers the rhythm of the earth that shaped her path.

Do not wait to long, find nature, return to nature, be nature. This is as powerful as the medicine, to be in tuned with the natural world. Not some retreat center with more buildings than trees, but in the forest, the presence of the great ones that came long before us.

The Grand Secrets of the Curanderos! ✨

There is a truth that Maestro Juan Flores shared with Tatiana again and again:
not all medicine is the same, and not all who serve it walk with the same responsibility.

Ayahuasca is not a miracle you drink.
It is not a shortcut.
It will not fix your life for you.

The real secret — the one beginners often avoid — is that the medicine only shows us the path.
We are the ones who must walk it.
We are the ones who must release the stories we cling to, the identities we hide behind, the beliefs we inherited without questioning.

We must put love into everything we do. And give love to everyone, including those that harm us, harm others, and harm themselves.

To witness the miracle of being alive, something in us has to die first:
the false self, the fixed idea of who we think we are, the illusion that life owes us meaning without participation.

This is what Maestro taught.
This is what Tatiana continues to carry forward — not as a promise, but as a responsibility.
And as we remember him, we honor the clarity he offered:
the medicine is a guide… not a replacement for your own courage.

Maestro Juan Flores left this world in October 2025, but his voice, his teachings, and his ícaros continue to guide those who carry his memory with respect.

In this short moment, you see the connection between Tatiana to Maestro Juan Flores — a lineage carried not by words, but by presence, discipline, and the living breath of the ícaros.

Maestro taught that the songs are not decoration.
They are navigation.
They are protection.
They are the bridge between the world of plants and the human heart that is asking to be transformed.

Tatiana learned beside him with humility, observing the weight of responsibility that true knowledge requires. Not performance. Not ego. A commitment to integrity in a time when many drift from it.

We offer this piece in honor of him — and in gratitude for the path he opened for so many.
May his wisdom travel far and find those who can hold it with care. 🙏🏾🙏🏼🌱

In this short glimpse, Tatiana speaks from a place many of us know in our bones — a childhood shaped by wounds she never chose, and a calling that grew out of the courage to face them.

Her path with ayahuasca was never a trend or a promise of quick healing. It was years of apprenticeship, silence, humility, and learning how to stand against the shadows that too often surround this medicine — the manipulation, the ego, the exploitation.

She chose a different way. A clean way. A way rooted in responsibility and the dignity of Indigenous knowledge.

This 60-second moment is only a thread of her story… the full story lives in the documentary.
If you feel a stirring in your chest, follow it.

It took me nearly a decade of deep self-inquiry
and countless dietas in the heart of the jungle
to unweave the threads of conditioning,
to dissolve the distortions of belief,
and to empty myself

And when the silence within grew wide enough, melody sounded like music from the very deep jungle

This song is a prayer,
a gift meant for all of us.
It sings of what we all carry in our hearts
goodness
and whispers a sacred reminder
of what we have forgotten:
Love.

My heart bows in deep gratitude
to my beloved sister
for the luminous message in the lyrics,
and for walking this path of love and sisterhood by my side.
So many precious memories live in me
of us as children, learning to walk the jungle’s wisdom, listening together to the whispers of our Great Mother.

To ,
thank you for your immense heart and masterful touch.
What a blessing to have met you on this sacred journey,
mi querido hermano.
To the brilliant team of music sound engineers
you know who you are.
Your love lives in every note of this offering.

Gratitude flows to:

– my lifelong sister,
for guiding me to find Herbert, and being a voice of reason in the process.

– my cherished teacher, for opening the door to the great realms, and for guiding me toward prayer song, even when I tried to run from it.

-timpishka — sacred waters thank you for guiding me home, and showing me the way through the unknown.

– for opening my heart and revealing the strength and beauty it holds.

To my dearest community and family, Thank you for your presence, your love,
and all the sacred ways you walk with me.

To all my relations
as above, so below,
from this now to the 13th Realm
— without you, I am not. ✨
