ON SPIRAL FORMATIONS IN GYNECOLOGY

Much has been studied and spoken both in avant garde science, vitalist biology and old esoteric traditions about the importance of spiral formations in nature and the universe. And some of them are said to be often related to the so-called 'golden ratio', although it's not the case on the specific subject of this post. Many years ago I undertook a research on some spiral formations that can overtly be found in gynecology and the woman's body. Here are some of the most evident ones and that play a crucial importance on the uterine contractility that, for obvious reasons, have to be expulsive. But there is another very important kinds of spiral formations on the disposition of the blood arterial suply in the uterus, that also plays a fundamental role on the mechanism of menstruation. On the Gynecologic Bimanual Palpation - known as "the Touch"... ( periodically, I post this here, given the importance of the subject and the still existing prejudices about it... )
That's a drawing I made in 2005 for illustrating my article on the gynecologic bimanual palpation ("the touch" - though knowing that many women HATE it... ), showing how it's performed, its importance and... technical difficulties. It was based on an original illustration by another author, Weibel ( mentioned on the drawing ), I adapted and slightly modified it to my own style. SOBRE OS MEUS 2 LIVROS SOBRE A MEDICINA DA MULHER, "NOVAS PERSPECTIVAS EM GINECOLOGIA" E "OS ÓRGÃOS SE***IS FEMININOS: FORMA, FUNÇÃO, SÍMBOLO e ARQUÉTIPO", lançados respectivamente em 1990 e 1994 pela Imago Editora - com que tive problemas muito, muito sérios...

Mesmo contendo muita informação técnica especializada ( predominantemente o "Órgãos Se***is Femininos" ), ELES NÃO SÃO LIVROS MÉDICOS TÉCNICOS no sentido habitual, assim como muito menos dirigidos à ginecologistas ( devido a meus conflitos com a política oficial da especialidade ). E algo muito importante: NÃO HÁ NELES nenhum tipo de abordagem "popularizante", coisa que sempre detestei. São obras que seguem uma ABORDAGEM INTERDISCIPLINAR ( que é a dos livros científicos modernos ). Isto significa que pessoas de diversas áreas das ciências da saúde e humanas podem perfeitamente lê-los, ainda que "pulando" passagens mais técnicas. O aspecto mais importante de ambos os meus livros é o CONCEITUAL, e a INTRODUÇÃO DE NOVAS FORMAS DE VER A GINECOLOGIA. E, desta forma, neles os aspectos FILOSÓFICOS têm importância fundamental. Porém, lamentavelmente eles só foram lançados em português, ainda que eu tenha traduzido para o inglês boa parte deles, formatada como artigos curtos para a web ( mas isto só foi possível com o surgimento da internet já no final da década de 90 ), e que estão no meu site profissional ( este já português-inglês, no ar desde a virada 1999/2000 ).

Dito isto, informo que AINDA TENHO COMIGO, PARA VENDA, DEZENAS DE EXEMPLARES EM ESTADO DE CONSERVAÇÃO DE ÓTIMO A EXCELENTE, mesmo décadas após o lançamento, em 1990 e 1994. Estes já são LIVROS RAROS, e os exemplares que ainda estão comigo são os restantes da 1ª e, lamentavelmente, única edição.

Anatomic drawing I made for my book "Os Órgãos Se***is Femininos: Forma, Função, Símbolo e Arquétipo", released 1994. Many years later ( 2017 ), I decided to make some improvements by adding more indications of specific anatomic details, intending to make it more understandable and complete when published isolately on the web ( that is, out of the context of the book ).
