My name is Mark Brumbill, I am a Food and Drink Business Consultant /Food Entrepreneur based in Rio Janerio, Brazil. For me Food, it’s a Big Deal, a fundamental part of life — we all have to eat! A place at the table brings us together to share a meal regardless of our background, beliefs, or language.Food is my passion and over the years has offered me amazing opportunities and experience in both my personal and business life. Having been fortunate enough to travel widely around the world I have enjoyed many cuisines but am always hungry for something new, different or special. Born in Stonnall a small village near Birmingham in the United Kingdom, I was brought up on traditional English food- for which I still maintain a great love for, however around the age of fourteen Indian and Chinese restaurants and takeaways introduced a whole new style of cooking, taste and flavor to me. I believe this was the catalyst for my lifetime “foodie” passion.
