Key insights in this Editorial that higher physical activity levels can reduce mortality for patients with breast, colon and prostate cancer. However other cancer types and disease-free survival remain understudied.
Limited self-report data at one time point can lead to errors in data, as can questionnaires that emphasize moderate-to-vigorous activity, rather than sedentary or lighter activity.
The addition of objective assessments of sedentary time and all types and intensities of physical activity at multiple time points throughout cancer survivorship could address this.
