Started my Friday off with with a full body blood panel.

I've been using for 3 years now to get my annual lab work done.

This has been key in helping me identify and correct certain areas that were out of range including:

👉 Thyroid
👉 Estrogen
👉 Insulin
👉 Immune function

It also measures your biological age which is fun to see. Chronologically I'm 36 but biologically im only 21. Clearly I've been doing something right over the last few years 😊

Lazy girl dinner hack.

Chopped salad kits are a great addition to any weekly meal planning.

I bulk it up a bit and add extra variety & fiber with whatever veggies I have in the fridge.

I sprinkle it with some chia/flax/hemp seeds too.

Throw in your protein and you've got a high protein high fiber quick and easy meal for lunch on those busy days or for dinner when there is just no energy or motivation to cook.

If you want long lasting results what matters most is how you support your body during and after this phase.

This is where people often go wrong which causes the weight to return once these medications are stopped:

👉 Not eating enough protein
👉 Not supporting gut health
👉 Losing muscle
👉 And not knowing how to transition off sustainably

and over time that load adds up.

Our bodies were NEVER designed for this!

Simply put, Glutathione is our bodies master antioxidant and key to longevity and ageing well.

You're eating healthy,
You're sticking to whole foods,
You're cutting out the junk

But your weight isn't budging.

It may be time to do a little check in with how much healthy fat you are consuming.

Healthy fats don't make you fat but excess calories in any form will contribute to weight gain over time.

Healthy fats are very calories dense and contribute to a lot of sneaky calories we often over look.

Everyone should be eating healthy fats daily, even when your goal is fat loss.

But be mindful of how much you are consuming.

Use a free meal/macro tracker for 3 days to get a realistic idea if your fat intake is supporting your goal, or sabotaging it.

Don't cut out fats, just be smart about how you eat them 😊

If I could sit down with my younger self and share what I’ve learned about nutrition, this is what I’d say:

You don’t need to eat less.
You need to eat smarter.

You don’t need to cut carbs.
You need to balance your blood sugar.

You’re not “bad” because you crash at 3pm.
You’re under-proteined & riding a blood sugar roller coaster.

Your anxiety isn’t random.
Your gut, nervous system and blood sugar are causing emotional chaos.

Building muscle is not about weight loss & aesthetics.
Muscle is protecting your metabolism, your hormones, and your future self.

Stop punishing your body,
Start nourishing it.

And most importantly, Stop the "Do it perfectly or don't do it at all" approach,
- This is failing you.

You need simplicity. You need consistency. You need nourishment.

No one taught us this properly.
So now we get to learn differently.

When you know better, you do better - One step at a time.

Unlimited You - The Roots

Hi, my name is Stephanie, author of Vitamin G Wellness Blog and Creator of Unlimited You - Holistic Health Coaching. I am an avid health and wellness enthusiast. Health and nutrition is something that has always interested me. However, I never full dove into these aspects until a few years ago when I decided to take full responsibility for my own health and improving my quality of life in every area available to me.

Unknown to me at the time, my journey started at the young age of 6 when I contracted Lyme Disease (a.k.a Tick Bite Fever). This is a fairy common disease, affecting over 30,000 people in the United States annually. After 4 weeks of treatment I had recovered and was back to normal, or so I thought. As it turns out the disease was never fully eradicated from my system and for nearly 20 years, wreaked havoc in my body, causing problems that are seemingly entirely unrelated to a silly tick. I struggled for many years with weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, skin and GI issues. In my mid 20’s when the abdominal pain had gotten too much for me to live with, I found functional Medicine. My functional medicine doctor immediately picked up the presence of the disease and, through multiply on site testing, was able to find various food sensitivities, liver, kidney and adrenal dysfunction and a multitude of gut and intestinal issues that were the cause of all my symptoms. He put me on an all-natural treatment plan to clean out my organs and repair the damage to my colon and within 3 months I had drastic improvements in my symptoms.

With the new knowledge and understanding I had gained from my doctor and the whole experience with functional medicine I decided to become the master of my own body and try to understand it at the deepest level possible. In an attempt to heal myself, I read and researched anything I could get my hand on regarding gut health, nutrition, mind body medicine and what is required in order for us to function AT OUR BEST.

I managed to lose 50 lbs and keep it off, drop my body fat by 10%, increase energy levels and get rid of acne for good. I spent 4 months living in China with the Shaolin Warrior monks learning about the mind body connection. How we think, move, and eat affects not only our body and mind, but every area of our lives down to our relationships and environment.
