The company's primary business is the

importing and wholesaling of medical/surgical, pharmaceutical and public safety supplies and equipment in The Bahamas. The company's principal customers are the Ministry of Health, The Public Hospitals Authority, Doctors Hospital, various surgical/medical centres and clinics as well as EMS, Fire/Rescue and Defence Force entities in Nassau, Freeport and the Family Islands. The company also distributes equipment to the Caribbean Islands. The company's office and warehouse is located at #40 Airport Industrial Park, adjacent to the Nassau International Airport. The 11,000 square foot facility was completed in the summer of 2001.

As we close of Kidney Disease Awareness month, Ports International donates to the Bahamas Kidney Association (BKA)

The BKA is committed to raising awareness and improving the quality of life for persons affected by kidney disease through the following initiatives:

-Medication Assistance Program- helping patients with access to essential medications
Dialysis project- Improving access to dialysis care and related support services.

Monthly Support Group Sessions- providing education, encouragement and emotional support

Monthly Kidney Alerts- Promoting prevention and public education on kidney health
