Important Notice for Bus Passengers! (Accompanied luggage only)

1. Free Luggage Allowance: Each passenger can carry up to 20 kg of luggage at no extra cost.

2. Excess Luggage Fee: For luggage over 20 kg, a charge of 10ch per kilogram per kilometer will be applied.

3. No Commercial Consignments: Buses are strictly for passenger use; commercial goods that inconvenience others are not permitted.

*** The passenger transport services shall be prohibited from transporting inflammable products, fi****ms, to***co and other psychotropic substances, or any other things which are deemed to be illegal or unethical, unless otherwise granted by any other law in force******

Taxi and Bus Fare (Stay Informed, Pay Right!)

Please note:

- Taxi fares are calculated on a "per km per taxi" basis. For example, if you hire a 5-seater taxi and travel one kilometer alone, you will pay Nu. 25.81 only. However, if four passengers (in 5-seater taxi) share the taxi for the same distance, the fare will be divided equally among all passengers, resulting in a fare of Nu. 6.45 per person. Intra-city and inter-city rates may vary, as detailed in the table below.

- Bus fares are calculated on a "per person per km" basis. The fare varies depending on the type of bus and the distance of the route.

Section 258 of Road Safety and Transport Regulations 2021 states that The Driver or owner of the Taxi shall not charge fare in excess of the fare prescribed by the Authority.

Offence: Charging excess fare

Penalty: 20 Units (Nu. 1000) plus refund of excess fare collected.
