We conducted a comprehensive refresher course on First Aid and CPR for our OPD and auxiliary staff. Sharing fundamental knowledge and skills in the initial management of emergencies is especially valuable in settings like ours, where resources and manpower are limited.
We aim to continuously equip every staff member with essential skills to confidently respond to emergencies, which can occur at any time, even outside hospital premises. We believe these shared skills will not only benefit patients in critical moments but also empower staff to assist first responders, ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes.

The BLS (Basic Life Support) course was conducted to refresh and update our nurses and relevant clinical staff on emergency response.
It was facilitated with assistance from ERRH, by one of our certified instructor staff under Druk Sokchop course of KGUMSB.
It provided participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for managing life-threatening emergencies, thereby strengthening their confidence and preparedness in critical situations.
This initiative represents an important step toward enhancing the quality of emergency and critical care. Such training not only builds individual capacity but also improves patient outcomes, teamwork, and the overall readiness of our emergency response system.

With a recent surge in Respiratory illnesses and Diarrhoeal diseases, we strongly encourage all visitors to wear a face mask, wash hands before and after visits, and follow contact precautions when visiting the hospital. These measures help protect vulnerable patients, healthcare staff, and fellow visitors.

1)Wear a well-fitting mask at all times inside hospital facilities
2)Practice frequent hand hygiene
3)Avoid unnecessary visits to the hospital and visiting admitted patients during odd hours please.
