TEAM NRC [Bhutan Sawdust & Beyond: Turning waste into resources] stands as RUNNERS UP from the nine RUB colleges in the BUSINESS IDEA COMPETITION 2023, bringing home a cash prize of Nu. 20,000 & Nu. 5,00,000 as a seed fund.
This Competition is organized by Centre for Business Research and Entrepreneurship Development, GCBS in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Royal Government of Bhutan and Royal University of Bhutan.
The Team Sawdust & Beyond mainly uses sawdust the byproduct of timber in making inexpensive and durable building blocks and planks for construction and furniture units.
Team NRC Members are:
