Lhuntse District Hospital hosted “116th National Day open mini marathon- Move for developed Bhutan “. The race saw overwhelming participation from different age groups and places from Lhuntse Dzongkhag. The 10km race graced by Dasho Dzongda along with other participants.
With assistance from RBP, BTCA & Bhutan Post the marathon successfully completed.

Director of the Department of Clinical Services Dr. Kuenzang Wangdi visited and interacted with the Unit incharges of lhuntse district Hospital. Director highlighted the mandate and functions of NMS along with future plans. The interaction was followed by Q&A session. Major issues such as related to HR, Budget constraints , Ambulance issues, Utility vehicle etc was also addressed.

Lhuntse District Hospital team conducted medical camp at Takila Tangmachu (maenbi gewog) for monks of Takila and general population. The camp saw overwhelming attendance from general population. The service included allopathic/ traditional service, usg, NCD screening , eye , ent,dental services , minor surgery etc.

Lhuntse District Hospital officially took over Lhuentse Health Sector from Dzongkhag Administration. The new change is in align with recent transformation of MoH . The handing taking was attended by Dasho Dzongda, Dasho dzongrab, ADHO, members of Dzongkhag Administration,Medical officer incharge, Hospital committee members and representatives from Primary health care.

The final match was graced by Dasho OC of lhuntse and principal sir of lhuntse high school. The final concludef with Lhss winning the title against Regional FC. The Hospital administration would like to thank all the supporters & doners. The hospital would thank principals sir & administration of lhss for helping out in conducting the entire championship successfully 🙏🙏🙏🙏
