Medicine Department formally welcomed three doctors to pursue post graduate studies in Medicine for next four years. We wish you all will have wonderful time us.

On the paradoxical note medicine department will miss the service of two longest serving nurses. Two of them begun their service from the medical ward and after more than 8 years of dedicated service they are leaving for the better careers ahead. We offer our heartiest wishes for your any future endeavors.

Exactly a year ago on 3rd December 2022, Medicine Department had rare and only excursion into the wilderness.

We should consider such events to maintain worklife balance amongst the working colleagues.

PS: Only handful of those wonderful people are currently in the medicine department.

𝐂𝐌𝐄 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

Medical Ward successfully convened in house CME and Unit meeting today the 12th August, 2023.

In today's Unit meeting our main discussion is on Annual Leave, the latest of the many reforms in the civil service. We had extensive discussion and adopted internal guidelines on AL of Medical Ward. With this we hope for successful implementation of annual leave and casual leave.

Our resource personnel for CME were those who were sent for training from the ward.

We Medical-ian always believe in collaboration, unity and dedication to serve the sick and weak. Cheers to Medical-ian for always sacrificing your day off or night off and even doubling the duty hours just to attend such activities.

Physiotherapy department led by HoD has invested so much energy, resources and efforts to customize this intermediate wheelchair for young girl who was bound to bed for quite long. Thank you all for your unwavering support and dedication to the patients.

Medical Ward is fortunate to have collaborative departmental professionals who is committed to provide best service to the patients.

Medical Ward had a series of farewell to so many invaluable nurses in recent times. The most recent being the Ms. Dawa Zam and Mr. Kinley Dorji.

Every Medical-ian departed from the ward is a massive loss to our setting but we have to accept the hard truth. Your service to the ward shall never be forgotten.

On departure of an every individual, we have a very good trend of keeping final legacy by outgoing friends with so many various items for our use or consumption. But this time we received something different from Mr. Kinley Dorji, he presented us with five digital thermometers.

Medical Ward would like to thank both of you for everything including thermometer and many other items. We wish you guys all the best for future endeavors.

We are again caught in disbelief by our patient with cake and a brand new whirlpool microwave oven.

Ms. Pema Seldon was admitted in our ward for quite sometime and presented us with Thank you cake on discharge. She works under the Ministry of Education.
Ms. Pema and her sister Dawa Choden donated us microwave oven to be used for patients. The subsequent donation of oven from kind donors will ensure our patients to have hot meals for longer future.

We are really overwhelmed by the continuous support rendered to us by patients on the regular basis.

We Medical-ian will always be grateful for everything. We will always strive for the best we can offer at our disposal.

When working hours stretched beyond the regular hours, energy draining at lighting pace and human resources exiting at alarming rate we were given energy booster, motivational gratitude and encouragement by our generous patient.

Kinley Bidha and her attendant Kinley Mo donated brand new Sharp Microwave oven for patient usage. And also provided us with gratitude cake and the case of apple juice which quenched our thirst and tempted our taste bud at the best.

We are extremely grateful for your kind recognition of our little efforts for the service of sick and weak.
Your Microwave oven will make huge difference for patients to have hot meals on time which we were not able to offer since breakdown of old one.

As we embark onto another day of celebration, we commit ourselves to the service of sick and weak. We shall never be deterred by current challenges and unexpected trends of exodus. We Medical-ian will give our best.
