The National Traditional Medicine Hospital (NTMH) pleased to warmly welcome ten intern sManpas for a duration of three months. This marks a meaningful milestone in their journey as traditional medicine practitioners, and we are honoured to accompany them at this important stage of their professional development.
During their time at NTMH, the interns will be deeply engaged in the clinical practice of Sowa Rigpa, gaining hands on practice on 27 types of therapies under the guidance of experienced Drungtshos and smanpa supervisors, they will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real world settings, providing compassionate and patient centred care grounded in the ancient wisdom of our medical tradition.
This internship offers a platform to cultivate clinical skills, deepen their understanding of traditional healing, and foster a spirit of service to the people. It is our hope that their time here will be enriching, transformative, and inspiring, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the health and well being of the nation through Sowa Rigpa.
