🚨 Dhanalakshmi handed 8-year ban by NADA!

Dhanalakshmi Sekar has been sanctioned with an eight-year ban by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).

The 27-year-old, who made her comeback in 2025 after serving an earlier ban, had clocked 11.36s, the fastest time by an Indian woman in four years, equalling Giridharani’s 11.36s (2023) to win gold at the Inter-State Championships.

She later again tested positive for the banned substance Drostanolone.
