Under the leadership of HoD, Dr. Kesang Namgyal, AICU has achieved yet another milestone of establishing the HDU. This HDU was due to his caring narure to patient. He put up reasons with administration for the need of HDU.

High Dependency Unit (HDU) provide high level care to patients with single organ failure. It serves as an intermediary between wards and ICU. AICU staffs in full swing to meet the opration dateline of 1st December 2020.

Health professionals trying to atleast change the world of sickest patients (If not world) by educating. Dr. Kesang Namgyal, HoD of AICU taking class to residents, critical care nurses, physiotherapist and student nurses of FNPH.
The class is scheduled on every Tuesday and Friday.
