Another plane crash: A passenger aircraft with 15 people onboard crashed in northern Colombia near the Venezuela border after losing contact before landing at Ocaña. Wreckage was found in a remote mountainous area, with no survivors reported; an investigation is underway. Yesterday one plane had crashed in India, 5 casualties.

Truck Accident in Tsirang: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

A 33-year-old man from Tsirang, working as a truck driver, lost his life in a tragic accident on January 15. The tipper truck he was driving veered off the road and fell approximately 100 meters, about 1 km from Khuruthang town.

He was travelling from Khuruthang towards Lobesa with a male passenger. The driver sustained severe head injuries and died at the scene, while the passenger was seriously injured and taken to Punakha Hospital for treatment.

The exact cause of the accident and death is yet to be confirmed.

I nearly hit one of them trying to avoid the others. Some have bigger protruding rocks posing a serious risk of vehicles being damaged or even toppling.
