The NESBO Renal Symposium 2025.
Organized by the Nephrology Society of Botswana (NESBO) in collaboration with NIPRO MEDICAL South Africa, was a resounding success.

The event provided a comprehensive scientific continuous medical education (CME) program, covering key topics in kidney care, including, Dialysis theory and Fundamentals of renal care

Participants benefited from state-of-the-art lectures as well as hands-on practical sessions, enhancing both their knowledge and clinical skills to improve patient outcomes.

The symposium attracted a wide range of healthcare professionals specializing in nephrology from across Botswana, fostering collaboration and advancing renal care in the region.

A remarkable milestone for NESBO and a significant step forward in nephrology education and practice in Botswana!

The main World Kidney Day celebration, held in Francistown in collaboration with the Francistown DHMT, was a great success.
More than 200 community members participated in health talks aimed at raising awareness about kidney health.
Screening was also provided to support the early detection of kidney disease.
The keynote address was delivered by the Minister of Health, Dr. S. Modise.
Thank you to all the stakeholders and community members that participated in the event!!!
