1. These are growths within the womb.
2. They Are usually not cancerous
3. Someone can still get pregnant while having fibroids.
4. They may result in abnormal bleeding.
5. They Are diagnosed by having a pelvic ultrasound Scan.

It can help diagnose anomalies, and multiple pregnancies.
