Occupational Health Doctor - Jwaneng

Mission
The incumbent will provide overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Clinic by applying technical expertise to oversee all medical, administrative and business development functions.

Key Performance Areas include
โ€ข Provide overall responsibility for the care of patients seen
โ€ข Provide referrals to appropriate medical resource specialty
โ€ข Ensuring confidentiality of medical issues and records in the Clinic
โ€ข Oversee the Clinicโ€™s operational and financial effectiveness
โ€ข Manage internal and external Clients and Stakeholders at the Clinic

Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) or equivalent
โ€ข Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Medicine and Health would be
an added advantage (Diploma, Masterโ€™s Degree, or equivalent)
โ€ข Registration with Botswana Health Professions Council

Experience
โ€ข Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ post-qualification medical experience
โ€ข At least 3 yearsโ€™ experience in Occupational Health Practice

Competencies
โ€ข Clinical governance, quality assurance, and medical ethics
โ€ข Leadership and strategic planning
โ€ข Business and financial competencies
