A BAD MARRIAGE IS EASY

A bad marriage is easy, it doesn't need much. You just need to stay connected with your ex and always seek advice from them. Approach every conversation to win, be arrogant, full of pride and talk anyhow. Disrespect him/her and remove s*x from the menu. When challenges come seek comfort outside, and blame your partner for your problems. And always have a group of friends where you trash your spouse. And even tell your family that he is not man enough, that she is useless. And don't consult anyone on anything, after all you make your own money. It will be so bad that it will lead to divorce. Is that not how many of our marriages are?

ARE YOU PLANNING TO DIVORCE?

Are you planning to divorce? What are your reasons for divorce? List them. How did you contribute to the the divorce? What have you done to understand your spouse? Is there third party already? Are you committed to third party or to your marriage? Why did you marry? Didn't you understand that marriage is difficult, is hardwork? What efforts and interventions have you undertaken to improve and better your marriage? Divorce is not always the best option. Marriage takes time and knowledge and understanding to gel.

THE FOUNDATION MUST BE STRONG

Please build your marriage on a strong foundation. The foundation must be strong because it normally carries a lot of weight. Don't just marry because the s*x is amazing, or friends are getting married, or that the money is there, or because she is pregnant or because of pressure from church. If the foundation is weak, the marriage will not stand the test of time.

Olorato Marriage Counselling Centre -DITSO

Olorato Marriage Counselling Centre is founded by Albert Gaopelo. Gaopelo, who is a Marriage Counselor, is also one of the founding members of Botswana Marriage Counselors’s Association. Apart from Olorato services, he also does voluntary counselling work for Office ya Manyalo at BBS, Gaborone and Tlokweng. He deals with reconciliations and family matters on daily basis. Olorato Marriage Counseling Centre was inspired to existence by a case Rre Gaopelo handled in 2016. The case was already at the High-court. There was no hope. The Couple were not on speaking terms when he took the case. And when they withdrew the matter from the High-court, and four months later moved in back together as husband and wife, the vision for Olorato Marriage Counselling Centre was established. Today many marriages have been restored, many homes have been rebuilt and relationships have been repaired. ‘’The future looks promising. ‘’ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams’’. And Olorato believes every marriage can be restored. Dont give up too soon.
