We are proud to share a recent morning show segment featuring Azalia Gongora Larrieu, educator, trauma-informed clinical specialist, and psychotherapist, as she discusses her upcoming presentation:

“Beyond the Answer: Rethinking Assessment, Performance, and Critical Thinking in the Age of AI.”

At Meta Belize, we believe conversations about AI must remain human-centered. As technology changes how we learn, work, communicate, and lead, we must also strengthen the skills AI cannot replace: critical thinking, emotional intelligence, ethical decision-making, creativity, and human judgment.

This presentation is especially relevant for educators, business leaders, supervisors, HR professionals, corporate teams, and organizations preparing for the future of work.

AI may generate answers quickly, but people still need to know how to question, verify, reflect, and apply information responsibly.

Meta Belize is honored to have partnered with Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise to design and implement Roots & Rhythms, a trauma-informed children’s program hosted at the Port Loyola Library.

Roots & Rhythms was created and facilitated by Azalia Gongora Larrieu, Clinical Trauma Specialist and lead practitioner at Meta Belize. The six-week program was intentionally developed to provide a safe, developmentally responsive group space for children ages 5–12, using therapeutic storytelling, guided reading, and reflective dialogue to support emotional well-being.

Through a trauma-informed lens, children were supported in processing everyday challenges such as anxiety, grief, bullying, and self-esteem, while strengthening resilience, empathy, and self-expression. The program reflects Meta Belize’s commitment to child-centered, community-based mental health interventions that prioritize safety, connection, and healing.

Meta Belize extends sincere appreciation to the Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise and all partners who supported this meaningful collaboration.

🌱 Healing happens in community. 🌱

World Mental Health Day 2025 🌿

At Meta Belize: Mind & Body Wellness, we honor this day as a reminder that mental health is human health.

Every story matters. Every emotion deserves space. Healing begins when we speak openly, validate our experiences, and offer compassion to ourselves and others.

Let’s keep building a culture of safety, empathy, and hope — where mental wellness is everyone’s priority. 💚

**Honored to Moderate This Important Discussion on Menopause!** 🌸

Today, I had the privilege of moderating a powerful panel on **menopause**, bringing together incredible experts from healthcare, advocacy, and wellness. Together, we broke the silence around this often-taboo topic, shedding light on how menopause impacts our **physical, mental, and emotional well-being**.

The insights shared were eye-opening—from debunking myths to discussing holistic health approaches. Menopause isn’t just a "women’s issue"; it’s a **public health conversation** that deserves more awareness, support, and open dialogue.

Huge thanks to our amazing panelists for their expertise and to everyone who joined us in this much-needed discussion. Let’s keep talking, learning, and advocating for better health at every stage of life! 💜

Thank you to the organizers H.E. Rossana Briceno and the Special Envoy
