It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the McKenzie family announces the heavenly transition of their beloved Dennis Edmund Llewellyn McKenzie.

Dennis was predeceased by his:
Parents: Alma Slusher née McKenzie and Hebert McKenzie

Daughter: Felicia McKenzie

Brothers: Roystan McKenzie, James McKenzie, Hersel McKenzie, and Woolrich McKenzie

Sister: Gilda McKenzie née Williams

He leaves to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy, his:
Daughters: Eartha McKenzie, Denisha McKenzie, Tina McKenzie, and Alma McKenzie

Sons: Dennis McKenzie Jr., Orlando McKenzie , and Jamal McKenzie

Brothers: Hebert McKenzie Jr., Kent McKenzie, and Linsdale McKenzie

Sisters: Leola Johnson née McKenzie, Phyllis McKenzie, Maureen Tillett nee McKenzie, and Elaine McKenzie

Common-Law Wife- Lesbia Ruiz

Dennis is also lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends whose lives he touched in meaningful ways.

A service celebrating his life will be held at Epworth Methodist Church on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. His body will be received for viewing at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery.
A prayer service and wake will be held at his residence, 2913 Chico Ramos Street, Rivas Estate, on Friday, May 8, 2026, commencing at 7:00 p.m.
