She is survived by:

She also leaves behind 32 great grand and 8 great great grand children.

There will be No Wake. Funeral services will be on Monday June 16th, 2025 at the Belmopan Methodist Church. Body will lie in state at 9:00am following the service at 10:00am. Interment will be at the Memorial Garden Cemetery in Belmopan.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make your offering in her name to the renovation of the Belmopan Methodist Vestry.

In Loving Memory of Joseph Augustus McGann

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph “Joe” Augustus McGann, who passed away on 26 April 2025.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Sybil Walder and Joseph Augustus McGann Sr., his son, Journey Tennyson, and his brothers: Lloyd Dailey, Jonathan Walder, and Aubrey “Bobby” McGann. He is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife, Dorett Tennyson; children: Javize McGann, Christopher McGann, Tesha-Marie McGann, Valcia McGann, Elliot McGann, and Josette McGann; daughters-in-law: Leni Ysaguirre-McGann and Michelle Segura-McGann; grandchildren: Andrew Courtenay, Christopher McGann, Alexander Guild, Elliot McGann, and Ella McGann; sisters: Evadney “Val” McGann Thompson and Jeanetta “Jenny” McGann, and brother Lenworth McGann; his sisters- and brother-in-law; cousins; relatives; and many treasured friends and colleagues.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to his doctors: Guillermo Villanueva, Ramoncito Yacab, Marta Habet, Darlene Tennyson, and Nolan Barbon, nurses: Dorothy “Lino” Alvarez and Margaret Bernard, the staff of the KHMH Oncology Unit and Western Regional Hospital, as well as family and friends who offered their care, comfort, and support during this time. Your kindness has been a great source of strength and solace.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 6 May 2025 at The Hidden Hall by Oasis in Rivera Area, Belmopan.
The body will be received at 9:00am and the funeral service will commence at 10:00am.
There will be no wake or repass.

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of 🕊️Verna Eloise Thurton Fraser🕊️, who left us on February 28, 2025 at the age of 73. Verna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Verna is survived by sisters: Yolanda Hollis (Robert), Yvonne Powyer (Herbert), Ava Martinez, Brenda Thurton brother Wolrick Thurton Jr. (Laurel), Gregory Thurton (Cherry), Errol Thurton and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Verna touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

A memorial service will be held on March 7, 2025 at El Shaddai Seventh Day Adventist Church in Belmopan to celebrate her life. We ask for your prayers and support during this difficult time as we cherish the memories of a life well-lived.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, and Matriarch, Frances Emolyn Del Valle (née Wright), who departed on February 11, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born on June 27, 1942, in Belize City to Edison Wright and Gladys Bellezaire, Frances lived a life of love, faith, and resilience. She mastered shorthand and typing, later serving as Premier George Price’s personal secretary, where she met the love of her life, Jesus Leonel Del Valle. Together, they built a legacy of family and entrepreneurship, founding Caladium Restaurant, one of Belmopan’s pioneering establishments. After Leonel’s passing in 1992, Frances courageously led the business while raising their children.

A woman of deep faith, Frances was devoted to her Catholic beliefs and cherished her family above all.

She was predeceased by her husband Jesus Leonel Del Valle, parents Edison and Gladys Wright, sister Prudence Robbins, and brother Omar Wright.

She is survived by her loving children: Selina Del Valle, Tricia Del Valle Brown, and Giovanni Del Valle, cherished grandchildren: Leonel Del Valle, Joneli Pinelo, Sabrina Brown, Mia Pinelo, Aiden Pinelo, Sophia Brown, Javier Brown, and Francesca Del Valle, and great-grandchildren Maiya Manzanero and Messiah Del Valle. Also mourning her loss are her son-in-law, Javier Brown, and siblings: Agnes Black, Maureen Rodas, Corneli Miller, Jerome Wright, and Clifford Wright, along with nieces and nephews.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
